Is there any fear yet?
The recession and job losses have barely started.
And central banks are raising rates and quantitatively tightening into said recession.
The FTSE 100 is only a few percent off it’s highs.
The S&P 500 isn’t even in a bear market. Vix is less than 30.
Meanwhile China’s economy is imploding and the Yuan is losing its peg to the USD.
What could go wrong?

There'll be a recession, there's been lots before. Then we will come out of it.
We've had a long period without one unless you count that COVID blip.
People who haven't taken responsibility and saved while times were good will blame others for why they haven't got as much when times worsen.
Then we will elect a government who promises to tax the wealthy more, give more free stuff away and borrow shit loads more money.
That's the next couple of years planned out for you. Go and have a bet on it.

Farming will become centrally controlled so the food supply will be limited
Governments around the world will conspire to keep interest rates rising to eventually collapse fiat currency
The majority of the world will be wiped out financially
New, programmable CBDCs brought in limiting what you can and can’t but with the credits you are given through UBI
In the future you will own nothing and be happy

Of the 150 or so currencies Bloomberg tracks, the British Pound is down against every single one from last week apart from the Chilean Peso, Gibraltar Pound, Falkland Islands Pound, St. Helena Pound.

I don't know where you've been for the past 15 years, mate, but UK real interest rates are currently at about -6% and have been negative for the past decade and a half. The same is broadly true in the US and EU

The problem for the Tories is that the global get out of jail card played for Covid and Ukraine aren't available this time around. The current economic slide is all on the freewill decisions made by Kwarteng and Truss.
And to announce such a high-risk strategy on the eve of a Labour Party conference was another avoidable gamble that has backfired.
To have squandered such an electoral advantage just a few years after crushing a floundering Labour Party is a truly remarkable failure.
